Does this sound familiar?
You've been learning for years. You can read, you can understand, you can get by. But the moment you open your mouth — or sit down to write something important — doubt creeps in. Which tense is this? Present perfect or past simple? Will or going to?
That hesitation isn't a sign that you're bad at English. It's a sign that nobody ever explained tenses to you properly.
"I know some grammar but I never feel fully confident when I speak
"I always mix up past simple and present perfect — they sound the same to me
"I understand tenses when I read them, but I can't use them naturally when I talk
"I've studied grammar before but nothing stuck — it felt like memorising rules, not actually learning
The Englishville approach
English has 12 tenses — but they're not 12 random things to learn. They're 3 houses, each with 4 rooms. Once you understand the system, everything clicks. Past continuous stops being confusing. Future perfect starts making sense. And you stop second-guessing yourself.
Tense Confidence doesn't give you a grammar textbook. It gives you vivid explanations, real-life scenarios, and the kind of "aha moments" that make tenses feel obvious — not overwhelming.
What's inside
Each module includes video lessons, interactive quizzes, a complete guide PDF, a cheat sheet, and practice exercises — everything you need to truly own each tense before moving on.
Module 0
Before we begin
Why tenses matter, how to study without overwhelming yourself, and the brilliant system behind all 12 tenses.
Module 1
Present Simple
The foundation of everything. Routines, facts, feelings — and why getting this right changes how you speak.
Module 2
Present Continuous
The "now" tense. What's happening, what's temporary, and the irritation trick that sounds instantly native.
Module 3
Present Perfect Simple
The bridge tense. Why "I have finished" and "I finished" are completely different — and when to use each.
Module 4
Present Perfect Continuous
The storytelling tense. How to show duration, ongoing effort, and vivid context behind what you've been doing.
Module 5
Past Simple
Your time machine tense. Finished actions, specific moments, and why irregular verbs are worth learning properly.
Module 6
Past Continuous
The scene-setter. How to tell stories with atmosphere, background action and suspense — like a native speaker.
Module 7
Past Perfect Simple
The sequence clarifier. How to show that one past event happened before another — and when you actually need it.
Module 8
Past Perfect Continuous
The busy detective tense. How to show ongoing background action that led up to a past moment.
Module 9
Future Simple
Promises, predictions, spontaneous decisions — and the crucial difference between "will" and "going to."
Module 10
Future Continuous
Stop just planning your future — start experiencing it. How to paint yourself into tomorrow's scenes.
Module 11
Future Perfect Simple
The achievement tense. How to talk about what you'll have accomplished by a specific point in time.
Module 12
Future Perfect Continuous
The duration detective. Honoring the journey, not just the destination — and expressing sustained effort.

English Language, Cambridge & IELTS Coach
I've been teaching English for over 15 years — and in that time I've worked with hundreds of students from all walks of life. But the ones I remember most aren't the ones who scored highest. They're the ones who found something they didn't expect: their own voice in English.
Not a copy of their teacher. A real, confident, authentic version of who they already are — just expressed in a new language. That's what I help you find.

Questions
What level do I need to be?
Tense Confidence is designed for intermediate learners — roughly B1 to B2. You should already have a basic foundation in English. If you can read this page and understand it comfortably, you're at the right level.
How long does the course take?
There's no fixed schedule — that's the point. You have 3 months to work through the course at whatever pace suits you. Some students move through a module a week; others prefer to take longer and really let each tense settle before moving on. Both approaches work.
What happens after I enrol?
You'll receive an email with your login details immediately after payment. You can start the course straight away — no waiting, no approval needed.
What if I already know some tenses?
Even if you think you know a tense, revisiting it properly often fills in gaps you didn't know you had. Many students are surprised by how much clicks the second time around — when someone finally explains it in a way that makes sense.
Is this a live course or self-paced?
Fully self-paced. Watch the videos, complete the quizzes and exercises whenever it suits you. There are no live sessions, no fixed class times, and no deadlines within your 3-month window.
What if I have questions while studying?
